I remember the very first day I stepped foot into One on One.  The first thing I noticed was this place is different, but I couldn’t pinpoint why.  After a few interviews with management and other staff, I was offered an opportunity to begin in the training program.  In April 2008, I finished the training program after four long months.  How Jeff put up with me for that long I will never know.

Working at One on One was very beneficial to me.  I am in the best shape of my life and I know how to continue on that path.  Also, my “toolbox” has many more tools in it and I am better equipped to handle what life has to throw at me.

Deciding to leave was not the easiest choice I’ve had to make.  I really enjoyed working and interacting with all the trainers and clients and I will miss them.  However, I decided to return to engineering and construction.  It is a decision that would benefit me in the long run.

When I started at One on One, I was just floating through life and didn’t know what I wanted.  After leaving, I have more confidence than ever and feel that anything is possible.  I now know who I am and what I want to accomplish in life.  Well, at least the next five years.

One on One taught me to become an excellent personal trainer, but more importantly I became a better person.
