Over the last 12 weeks I have had some of the most memorable times of my young life. I have learned so many things that I can use not only in the workplace with personal training, but in life as well. I have always been a person who is able to get along with people wherever I go. My problem was being proactive and One on One has helped me improve in this area drastically. I have had numerous talks with both Bruce and Kym regarding my shyness. They have played an instrumental part in my ability to make people feel at ease and comfortable enough to approach me when needed. Something as small as remembering someone’s name or asking how someone is doing with a smile on my face has done wonders for me. I still am not perfect at all of the techniques yet, but I am definitely more confident than ever to use them anywhere I go whether it be professionally or recreationally.

From the fitness side of the spectrum, I have also learned more things than I could even imagine. When I first came to One on One, I could barely tell you the basic principles of movement and how the body works. Now, I not only know how the body works but I understand the way in which it is supposed to move. The concept of movement is much more complex than just knowing an exercise. So many things come into account when discussing movement. My learning of these concepts and strategies is a true testament to One on One and the philosophy they live by. They not only talk a certain talk, but they make it a point to be able to walk a certain walk. Each one of their clients believes in the endless possibilities that One on One can provide for them. This reason and many others is why the experience that I have had this summer is one I will never forget.

I would like to thank everyone involved with my internship this summer. From the staff members to each client I had the pleasure of interacting with, you are truly appreciated. Thank You!

To anyone interested in physical fitness, overall health or even life advice, I would strongly recommend considering One on One Fitness Consultants Inc. for the experience of a lifetime.
