Thirty-seven years in the fitness business has taught us the importance of individualization and always meeting the client where they need to be met. Our nutrition program is no different. Whether it is weight loss, exercise performance and recovery, medical nutrition therapy or simply developing a sustainable meal plan, One on One’s registered dietitians are here to help.

Everyone starts by going through a thorough intake process to establish a clear understanding of your objectives, medical history and lifestyle. We then create a plan to help you meet those objectives. For some, having a well-defined plan is all that is necessary. However, more is often needed. Meeting nutrition/fitness related goals means making appropriate “in the moment” decisions. In addition to providing the necessary nutrition education, we will help you develop manageable habit-change strategies meant to set you up for long-term success.

Take Charge!

Our most comprehensive offering, Take Charge! is a 12-week program that consists of an initial consultation, meal planning, six follow-up counseling sessions and unlimited email support.

Nutrition Counseling

Once through the intake process, our registered dietitians will develop a plan and meet with you to get you started. From there, 30 or 60-minute follow-up sessions are available for additional support, education and accountability.

Lecture Series

One on One provides interactive fitness/nutrition/habit change education to groups through our lecture series. This is perfect for businesses, civic groups, religious organizations or groups of friends and family. A few of the topics include Building Healthy Nutrition Habits that Last, Meal Planning and Preparation and Nutrition for Exercise Performance and Recovery. However, we most often customize the content to accommodate your needs/desires.

One on One’s lecture series is part of its “Give Back” initiative. All proceeds are given directly to our chosen charities, Centre Volunteers in Medicine and the Centre County Youth Service Bureau.

“Our daughter has been living in a residential program for 14 years and has struggled to keep her weight under control and to have enough strength and energy to be fully productive. We were fortunate to discover One on One Fitness and have been truly impressed by Geoff Borro’s holistic approach to wellness. Geoff personalized both a fitness regime and meal plan to fit her individual needs and together they have made a significant difference. The nutrition plan has been easy to follow; it is sustainable and has produced results where other plans have failed. Geoff has been incredibly supportive and cares deeply about making sure she is “healthy and happy.” We are eternally grateful!”
