They call themselves “Fitness Consultants” which is a little more accurate, but I’d go as far as calling them a “Fitness family”. That may sound odd, but everyone there is so warm and welcoming and there’s always a friendly and comfortable atmosphere while you’re working out. Every person there genuinely cares about you on more than just a “client” level: they want you to succeed.
Ross W.’s Experience
I love One on One Fitness.
I was the fat kid in dodge ball growing up. In college I decided enough was enough and started eating better and working out. For over ten years, maintaining a healthy lifestyle and regular exercise routine has become a top priority. I have been a member of seven gyms in four different towns. I’ve had three personal trainers and pretty much done anything and everything a standard gym has to offer. I was hesitant to start a training program at One on One because I thought I had seen and done everything. My wife had joined after the birth of our first son and could not stop raving about how much she enjoyed One on One. After a couple months of her telling me I would love it, I decided to give it a shot.
Best. Gym. Ever.
The facilities are excellent and it is hands down the cleanest gym I have ever seen. One on One is really what every gym should be. I say “gym”, but that’s not what One on One is.
My wife and I went on a summer vacation recently and our trainers gave us “To Go!” programs that they stepped us through by asking what type of gym facilities we’d have on our trip as well as making sure we were 100% confident with the program. Now here is the biggest problem about One on One: working out will never be the same without them. We both continued with our “To Go!” programs (on vacation!) and felt fine about the work we were putting in, however nothing is the same as going to One on One and working with your “Fitness family”. No gym will ever live up to the standards I am used to now.
So how does it work? After your initial fitness consultation, a workout program is developed to address your specific needs and wants as a client. The trainers are constantly adapting/modifying your program as you progress through it. This is a real advantage to One on One because you are always moving forward and not getting stuck in a “routine”. I can’t tell you how many times I would get bored with what I was doing at a gym, this won’t happen at One on One.
Even though I felt like I was in pretty good shape when I started at One on One, I am now in the best shape of my life. I feel stronger, look better, and have more energy than I can ever remember having. The trainers keep me motivated and keep pushing me to reach my goals. I truly love One on One Fitness.
I highly recommend giving them a try no matter what your fitness level or goals are. They will not disappoint!
Seriously, they’re awesome.
