Brett completed the One on One Personal Fitness Training Instructor Program in 1998 and earned his B.S. in Kinesiology from Penn State University later that year. He began working full-time as a fitness professional with One on One after graduation. Brett is a Certified Personal Trainer with the American Council on Exercise (ACE) and also has the following specialty certifications:
- Senior Fitness Specialist (ACE)
- Orthopedic Exercise Specialist (ACE)
- Cancer and Exercise Specialist (ACE)
- Functional Training Specialist Program (ACE)
- Behavior Change Specialist Program (ACE)
Brett has participated in athletic competition from the community level to the collegiate level. Personal training has allowed him the unique opportunity to remain active in athletics while working with others to help them enjoy the benefits of exercise, regardless of their initial fitness. He has helped hundreds of people lead healthier, more fulfilling lives.
Brett is proud of his accomplishments as a husband and father. He lives in State College with his wife, Rachel, and son, Alexander.
