Grilled Chili Lime Beer Shrimp

Makes: 2 servings


1/2 tsp fresh minced garlic

1 1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp cumin

1/4 tsp cayenne

2 tsp pepper

1 tsp smoked paprika

2 tsp chili powder

2 tbs fresh lime juice

2 tsp honey

1/2 cup Otto’s Red Mo American Red Ale beer

1/4 cup chopped cilantro

1 lb raw shrimp


  1. In a large mixing bowl, add minced garlic, salt, cumin, cayenne, pepper, smoked paprika, chili powder, lime juice, honey, and beer.
  2. Whisk ingredients together evenly.
  3. Add shrimp to mixture. Evenly cover shrimp with mixture and marinade in refrigerator for 1 hour and up to 24 hours.
  4. Preheat grill to medium heat.
  5. Skewer 6 shrimp on metal or pre-soaked wooden skewers.
  6. Grill until cooked through, about 2 minutes on each side. Do not overcook.
  7. Sprinkle cilantro over grilled shrimp.
  8. Optional: enjoy with Otto’s Red Mo American Red Ale on the side!
