Grilled Chili Lime Beer Shrimp
Makes: 2 servings
Ingredients:
1/2 tsp fresh minced garlic
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cumin
1/4 tsp cayenne
2 tsp pepper
1 tsp smoked paprika
2 tsp chili powder
2 tbs fresh lime juice
2 tsp honey
1/2 cup Otto’s Red Mo American Red Ale beer
1/4 cup chopped cilantro
1 lb raw shrimp
Directions:
- In a large mixing bowl, add minced garlic, salt, cumin, cayenne, pepper, smoked paprika, chili powder, lime juice, honey, and beer.
- Whisk ingredients together evenly.
- Add shrimp to mixture. Evenly cover shrimp with mixture and marinade in refrigerator for 1 hour and up to 24 hours.
- Preheat grill to medium heat.
- Skewer 6 shrimp on metal or pre-soaked wooden skewers.
- Grill until cooked through, about 2 minutes on each side. Do not overcook.
- Sprinkle cilantro over grilled shrimp.
- Optional: enjoy with Otto’s Red Mo American Red Ale on the side!
